AN Alresford man has been sentenced for having indecent photographs of children.
Ian Tillett, 61, of Arlebury Park, will be under a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO) for five years and sign on to the sex offenders register for the next five years.
Tillett must do 100 hours unpaid work over the next 12 months and be subject to rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 30 days.
The SHPO will control his internet access. Any access to the internet must be open and available for inspection by the police.
Basingstoke Magistrates Court also ordered he pay a £95 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Tillett admitted one charge of making two indecent photos and another of possessing six indecent photos between January 2017 and January 2020.
His laptop, Apple iPad will be forfeited and destroyed.
