UPDATE: Trains are now running normally again after the earlier signalling problem.
DISRUPTION is being caused to trains due to a signalling problem.
South Western Railway (SWR) says that a signalling problem is affecting rail services between Southampton and Eastleigh.
Trains are currently running at a reduced speed on the line towards London and journeys are taking longer than normal as a result.
The train operator is anticipating that disruption to services will end at 12:30pm.
An SWR spokesperson, said: "Trains may be cancelled, delayed, or revised because of this problem."
