THREE men have been arrested following an attempted burglary today.
Police raced to a home in Danecrest Road, Lymington, after receiving reports of an attempted break-in
On arrival officers, found a van that matched a description given by the victim.
The van failed to stop for police at first.
However, after a search of the vehicle, officers found two "high-value" bikes which were believed to have been stolen during a previous burglary in the New Milton area.
Following the incident shortly after midnight, a 17-year-old male from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of a Class B drug.
A 17-year-old male, also from the city, was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
And a 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.
All three remain in custody at this time.
