A SOUTHAMPTON street is set to be closed for most of the day after it was blocked by a fallen tree.
Cobden Avenue, near the junction with Midanbury Lane, is currently shut in both directions after a tree fell and blocked the road.
Now, Southampton City Council has said that the closure is expected to be in place for "most of the day".
Motorists are being advised to "avoid the area" and diversions are currently in place.

"Please plan your route accordingly."
