A VAN driver from Hedge End who broke 100mph an hour on the A3(M) has been fined more than £800.
David Stephen Begg, 40, of The Foxgloves, was clocked driving a VW Transporter at 101mph in the 70-limit of the southbound A3(M) at Waterlooville on June 11 last year, Basingstoke Magistrates Court heard.
Begg admitted the charge under the single justice procedure and was fined £690 with a £69 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Six penalty points were added to his licence.
