In order to try to bury the bad news that Portugal is to be relegated to the Amber Zone for international travel, Secretary of State for International Trade, Liz Truss, triumphantly announces that she has secured trade deals with Norway, population 5.46 million, Iceland, 343,200 and Liechtenstein, every one of 38,230.
This means that together the people of these world leading states will need to have pockets only 76 times deeper than those of the 445 million from the 27 countries of the EU to emulate how they previously helped our economy.
I guess that you will chalk this up as another Brexit Bounce, Liz.
