THE HAMPSHIRE Hero Awards event is nearly here.
Readers and visitors to our website will be able find out Thursday evening just who among those they have nominated have been chosen as the finalists and winners in the Hampshire Hero Awards.
Hospital workers, medical professionals and carers who have stepped up during the pandemic are among the finalists.
It will be a night when others are recognised too. They include child carers, first responders and those unsung heroes who might otherwise be in danger of being forgotten.
The event, with its principal sponsor Utilita, will be screened from 7pm on our Facebook page allowing visitors to comment and cheer on their favourites.
