A spokesperson from HFRS said the fire "began within loose hay before spreading to the stables."
The farm's owners helped crews evacuate the horses.
Firefighters used four sets of breathing apparatus, one jet, two hose reel jets, Fareham’s water carrier and an on-site digger to extinguish the fire.
Three adults were treated at the scene for minor smoke inhalation before fire crews left the scene at 15:17.
