FIREFIGHTERS have been tackling a blaze at Southampton docks this morning.
Smoke has been billowing into the skies above the city after a pile of scrap metal burst into flames.
Crews from St Mary’s and Redbridge Fire Stations have raced to Western Avenue after an emergency call came in at around 5am.
The situation is ongoing and the Environment Agency has been informed.
Rail engineer, Antony Ellis, was among the people taking photos earlier this morning as he finished working a night-shift.
