A MAN was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving a Land Rover and taxi.
Police were called to the crash near the junctions of Tebourba Way, Romsey Road and Winchester Road in Southampton around 12.20am on Sunday.
The driver of the Land Rover, a 36-year-old man from Southampton, suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries as a result.
No other injuries were reported.
He has since been arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and failure to stop for police.
A 29-year-old man from Southampton has also been arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and failure to stop for police.
Both remain in police custody at this time and an investigation surrounding the crash is under way.
A police spokesperson said: "We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen or heard what happened or anyone who has Dash Cam or CCTV footage from the area at the time.
