MORE than 150 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Hampshire in 24 hours.
Public Health England figures - as recorded on the Government website at 4.38pm today - show that 151 more people have tested positive for the virus in a 24 hour period.
Yesterday there were 100 new cases recorded.
Across the county, there has been a total of 95,280 positive tests since the start of the pandemic in March 2020 - around 6.92 per cent of the county's population.
Below are the confirmed cases by local authority on June 16:
- Basingstoke and Deane: 16 (8,443 in total since start of pandemic)
- East Hampshire: 9 (4,999)
- Eastleigh: 12 (5,970)
- Fareham: 4 (5,333)
- Gosport: 5 (3,940)
- Hart: 7 (4,540)
- Havant: 5 (7,191)
- New Forest: 5 (6,302)
- Portsmouth: 26 (14,644)
- Rushmoor: 3 (7,977)
- Southampton: 42 (15,328)
- Test Valley: 12 (5,579)
- Winchester: 5 (5,034)
