AS coronavirus restrictions have eased indoor locations such as venues and museums have reopened across Southampton.

Despite the wet weather which is expected throughout the week, the city still has a lot to offer those who want to get out the house.

That is why the Daily Echo has put together a list of the top five things to do in Southampton - without getting wet!

All locations in this list are listed as an attraction currently on Tripadvisor and are in the order of how they rank on the website:

"Amazing experience. I cannot wait to do it again with my kids. The place is really clean and gets you in a different world."

"We visited the museum in May 2021 and had a great time learning about Southampton's History and Titanic! All very COVID safe and still enjoyable. Social distancing and regularly hand sanitising makes you feel safe and able to enjoy the experience. I would definitely recommend if you are visiting Southampton."

Daily Echo:

4. Tudor House - Bugle Street St Michael's Square

Speciality Museum, Historic Site, History Museum

Recent reviews:

"The old house is well maintained and it has got many stories and war time hide outs, ammunition storage point etc. The entrance fee is minimal. The backyard is done creatively, but the garden part requires a little more maintenance. A small souvenir shop is at the ground floor."

"Went on a day trip to Southampton and visited the Tudor house. Absolutely loved it. Was very interesting! We chose to look round ourselves rather than do the guided or audible tours. The little “show” at the beginning was good and being able to follow the numbered information boards meant nothing was missed out. Defo worth the £5 it cost to enter!!"

"Even on a wet day this was a pleasant place to visit, the audio guide really helps, there were lots of artifacts covering the history of the house and southampton as a whole. Thouroughly reccoemnded for people wanting to learn more about the city history."

Daily Echo:

5. Robin's Nest Emporium - Atlantic Works Oakley Road Unit C

Another bonus is that the cafe serves multiple gluten free options a rare find in places of this type!"

"Fascinating what people are selling, brings back some amazing memories of things we used & loved in the past, rather entertaining too (we actually thought we were the bees knees). Good selection with reasonable prices. They do a tasty line in bacon sarnies as well"

"large warehouse with many small stalls of interesting & quirky items, old and new. Ideal gifts for those hard to buy for! Nice little cafe with very friendly staff."
