A MAN has been left with serious injuries to his leg after a crash on a town road.
Yesterday, just before 8am, police were called to reports of a collision on Southampton Road, Eastleigh.
The crash involved a Heavy Goods Vehicle and a delivery truck and resulted in delays for motorists travelling in the area.
One man is said to have suffered serious injuries to his leg in the incident.
South Central Ambulance Service took him to University Hospital Southampton for further treatment.
It is believed that the crash was caused by overhanging poles from the delivery truck.
