SEVEN areas of Southampton have recorded 15 or more new Covid cases in the past week.
According to the latest data from Public Health England, some of these districts have seen a drop on the number from the week before despite recording a high number of fresh cases.
One area, Highfield and University, saw 24 new cases in the week to June 20, but this was three cases fewer than what was reported the week before.
The interactive map also shows that another area, Bassett Green, saw cases more than double on the previous week, with 26 fresh reports.
Another, Aldermoor and Lordswood, recorded a 150% increase in cases, up to 15.
Below we have detailed the areas further.
The maps, using data from Public Health England, break down the number of coronavirus cases into neighbourhoods called 'Middle Super Output Areas' (MSOAs), which are smaller than council wards and based on population rather than geographical area.
It colour-codes MSOAs depending on their seven-day rolling infection rate, with areas placed into the boundaries of 0-9 (yellow), 10-49 (light green), 50-99 (dark green), 100-199 (light blue), 200-399 (dark blue), 400 to 799 (light purple) and 800 plus (dark purple).
