MY granddaughter expecting her first baby early September was told several times on Tuesday not to come to the Maternity Unit.
Thankfully she did go as we could have lost her too.
She had not been seen since 16 weeks for check-ups. She had to deliver a dead baby starved of nutrients.
What should have been a happy event which we were so looking forward to.
So please make sure if you are pregnant that you are checked regularly for pre-eclampsia.
