PAEDOPHILES, thugs and drug dealers passed through the courts of Southampton courts in June.
Some were jailed, while others walked free with a suspended sentence hanging over them.
Here we round up some of the cases from last month:
Southampton man caught with more than £200,000 cash and haul of drugs
Ahmed Haji was pulled over in a silver Ford Fiesta in Southampton.
Police later raided a city address seizing drugs and high-value designer clothing.
He was jailed for more than eight years.
Man sped down M27 at more than 100mph during police chase
John Clifford Seymour sped down the M27 in a red Mini.
During the half-hour chase he jumped lights and undertook vehicles at staggering speeds.
He was finally stopped after being rammed by a patrol car
He was jailed for 14 months and eight weeks.
Violent thug pinned ex-partner to bed during domestic violence attack
Mitchell Slater claimed to be the “hardest man in Hampshire”.
He attacked his victim while he was “heavily intoxicated”.
He then threatened her step-father, saying: “I am coming to burn your house down.”
Slater was given a 12-month suspended sentence.
‘Skilled builder’ built an underground cannabis pit
Noel Chalk built an underground chamber in his garden to cultivate cannabis.
When police raided his home following a tip-off they found plants with an estimated value of around £140,000.
He was jailed for six months, suspended for 18 months.

Woman ripped up bushes and hurled them at neighbour’s house
Samantha Holloway left her neighbour with a fractured collar bone.
The same day she had parked on the woman's front lawn playing loud music.
She then tore up a pair of bushes and launched them at her victim's home.
She was jailed for 15-months, suspended for 18-months.
Man sent revenge porn to victim's mother
Adam Keith Parker sent a naked photo of his victim to her mother.
However, he was reported to the police.
He was jailed for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months.
Man rammed patrol car during a police chase
Rafal Jach led police on a “crazy” chase.
He was pursued by armed police units and even rammed a patrol car.
The 21-year-old sped from Eastleigh to Southampton where he dumped his vehicle.
He was jailed for 15-months, suspended for two years.
Man caught with thousands of indecent images of children being abused
Steven Thomas Scott had more than 5,000 indecent images of youngsters.
They ranged from category A - the most serious type - to category C images at the lower end of the spectrum.
He was jailed for nine months, suspended for two years.
