HUNDREDS of people took to the tarmac at a Hampshire airport to raise money for charity.
Southampton Airport hosted a successful Runway Run on July 1, 2001, raising cash for its charity partner Saffron Abraham Snowdrop Fund.
The runners had an early start to participate in one of the biggest runs of its kind in the UK.
