Heavy rain and thunderstorms caused havoc across Southampton yesterday with roads flooded and railway lines deluged.
The torrential downpours led to huge delays on the trains and streets turned into rivers, causing traffic chaos.
The Met Office issued a weather warning for rain from 10am until midnight and heavy rain began falling at about 4pm across Southampton and the surrounding areas.
The water submerged railway lines at Southampton Central station and videos from across the city show drivers struggling through floodwater.

Network Rail had to pump the water awy from the lines into overflow catch pits, with trains disrupted into the evening.
Southampton Central Library was closed due to 'major flooding' as well.
Roads including Shirley High Street, West Quay Road, Western Esplanade, Millbrook Road West and the A334 at Botley all suffered the worst flooding.
