AN E-FIT of a man has been released after a girl was sexually assaulted in a Southampton park.

Detectives investigating the sexual assault on the girl on Friday, July 9, have released this image of a man who they would like to speak to.

On July 9, between 4.27pm and 4.35pm, the girl was walking through Mayfield Park when she noticed a man following her. When he caught up to her, he put his hand up her skirt.

When the girl screamed, he fled the scene.

“We are now also able to give a time that the incident took place, which is sometime between 4.27pm and 4.35pm.
