The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates’ Court....

RHYS LOUIS DANIEL, 19, of the Hundred, Romsey. Pleaded guilty to drug driving. Fined £120 and disqualified for 12 months. Ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

CARITA-MAIVIA BLYTH, 48, of Millbrook Road, Southampton. Admitted breaching post-sentence supervision requirements. Returned to prison for seven days.

HERMON GHIDE, 33, of Cardinal Place, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen. Disqualified for 16 months and fined £500. Ordered to pay £50 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

ROBERT GLYN JONES, 32, of Faircross Close, Southampton. Admitted breaching a community order. Community order revoked.

RAJESH PRAVIN SINGH, 54, of Knowsley Road, Cosham. Pleaded guilty to using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress, assaulting an emergency worker and possessing a knife in a public place. Remanded on bail. Sentencing adjourned for consideration of advance information.

FENELLA BROOKS, 58, of Cuckmere Lane, Southampton. Found guilty of assault by beating. Ordered to pay £300 compensation, £600 court costs and £34 victim surcharge.

MADE 2 MEASURE HOLDINGS LTD, of Grange Road, Bursledon. Proved guilty in absence of failing to give information relation to the identification of a driver. Fined £1,500. Ordered to pay £150 victim surcharge and £250 court costs.

ABU SAYED MUHAMMED- MAHDI, 31, of Northbrook Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to one count of speeding and one count of driving without insurance. Disqualified from driving for six months. Fined £250 and driving record endorsed. Ordered to pay victim surcharge of £34.

CALLUM DURNFORD, 24, of Sunnyfield Rise, Bursledon. Pleaded guilty to failing to provide police with a sample of blood when suspected of having committed a driving offence. Fined £400 and disqualified from driving for 16 months. Also ordered to pay victim surcharge of £40 and court costs of £85.

VIRGILIJUS JANULEVICIUS, 59, of St Marys Street, Southampton. Pleaded not guilty but was found guilty of assualting a woman by beating. Community order made and restraining order put in place. Also fined £300 compensation and ordered to pay victim surcharge of £95 and £620 court costs.

PHILIP SHAAHIN BAHOOSHY, 38, of Bodycoats Road, Cahndler’s Ford. Pleaded not guilty but was found guilty of speeding on the M27 eastbound at a speed of more than 100mph. Disqualified from driving for six months and fined £150. Also ordered to ay victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £100.

PETER KOLLAR, 40, of Canute Road, Southampton. Pleaded not guilty but was found guilty of assault of “vulnerable” 90-year-old woman by beating. Committed to prison for 20 weeks and fined £300 compensation.

FUNMI MARTINS, 40, of Thornbury Wood, Chandler’s Ford. Pleaded not guilty but was found guilty of driving without insurance. Driving record endorsed with six points and fine d£415. Also ordered to pay victim surcharge of £42.
