A MAN who stole alcohol worth £180 from a Southampton supermarket.
Scott Michael McClure raided the Sainsbury's store off Shirley Precinct stealing alcohol worth £180 on September 9 last year.
Appearing before Portsmouth Magistrates' Court, he was charged with theft and failing to surrender to custody.
He pleaded guilty to both offences.
The 37-year-old of Andrew Close, Portsmouth, was given a community order to last until January 2023.
It includes nine months of drug rehabilitation.
His first review with the probation service is due to take place on August 12.
