A SOUTHAMPTON man was caught more than three times the drug-driving limit for cocaine.
Joao Luis Abrantes Ramalho was pulled over driving a Vauxhall Insignia in Brougham Road, Southsea.
The 34-year-old of Howard Road had 33mgs of cocaine per litre of blood.
The legal limit is just 10mgs.
He also had traces of benzoylecgonine in his system - a breakdown product of cocaine.
Appearing before Portsmouth Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to the offences which happened on November 11 last year.
He was given a 12-month ban and fined £307. He must also pay £85 in costs and a £34 victim surcharge.
