A ROBBER has made off with £190 cash after threatening a woman at a Hampshire village store with a metal bar.
The attacker wielded the metal bar as he entered the Mace shop in Lower Upham and threatened staff before taking the cash from the till.
Police are now appealling for witnesses for anyone who may have seen the incident or spotted the robber leaving the scene.
He is described as a 50 to 55-year-old white man who had collar-length grey hair and was scene driving a blue Rover erratically along the B2177 towards Winchester.
Anyone with any information about the incident which happened at around 11am this morning is asked to call Hampshire police on 0845 045 4545 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
