Emergency services deal with 'incident' on Southampton train - delays expected for hours
EMERGENCY services dealt with "an incident" on a train this afternoon.
It took place at just after midday today on a South Western Railways train between Southampton Central and Southampton Airport Parkway.
The situation has since been resolved, but delays are expected until 4pm this afternoon.
SWR says trains "may still be delayed, cancelled or revised whilst we return our service to normal".
Hampshire police, South Central Ambulance Service, and the British Transport Police have all been contacted for further information.
A statement from SWR added: "We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey."
