A SOUTHAMPTON woman bit a police officer leaving him scared he had caught a disease.
Laurie Louise Somers bit ad officer during an attack in the city.
He was left with a cut and fearing he had contracted a disease, a court heard.
Somers, 33, of Lodge Road, was charged with ABH.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court she pleaded guilty to the offence which happened last February
She was jailed for four months, suspended for 24 months, as there is a realistic prospect of rehabilitation.
Somers must complete six months of rehabilitation and 15 activity days.
She has been ordered to pay £100 in compensation and a £122 victim surcharge.
