RUSH hour traffic on two of Hampshire's busiest roads was slowed this morning after two seperate accidents.
Drivers on the M27 found themselves at a virtual standstill as they approached junction three at Romsey and the M271. It followed an earlier accident at 7.40am on the east-bound carriageway which was quickly moved to the hard shoulder.
A second collision occurred on the M3 northbound at junction 12 for Eastleigh around 7am which is also thought to have caused some tailbacks.
Meanwhile there was chaos for motorists using the southbound A34 between Newbury and the junction with the A303 after part of the road was closed following a collision.
Police confirmed that both accidents on the motorways had been cleared to the hard shoulder quickly and traffic should be back to normal.
