A SOUTHAMPTON teen who robbed a man of his bike worth almost £500 must pay just £22.
A 15-year-old boy stole a pedal bike from a man in the city worth £474.
The teen, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was hauled before the Southampton Youth Court where he pleaded guilty to a single count of robbery.
He has been ordered to pay a £22 victim surcharge following the event which happened on September 7 last year.
No order was made for compensation because of the boy's limited means, the court heard.
He has been referred to a youth offender panel for nine months.
