AN MP has cut the ribbon to officially open a new retirement living development in Southampton.
Last week, Southampton Test MP, Alan Whitehead was joined by Southampton retirees as he opened McCarthy Stone's Hampton Place.
The new development has been designed for over 60s and is aimed at providing the "very best in independent living within a safe and secure environment".
Dr Alan Whitehead MP commented: “I was delighted to be invited to the opening of Hampton Place. The development provides an excellent solution for those looking to enjoy an independent and active lifestyle in retirement, and I enjoyed meeting and chatting to the new homeowners at Hampton Place.
"It’s clear everyone values the quality of life afforded by their surroundings and the freedom of having a range of services on their doorstep.”
