Winchester man fined for assault
A WINCHESTER man has been fined and ordered to pay compensation for an assault.
Christopher White, 33, of Stuart Crescent, Stanmore, admitted common assault, attacking Graham Noto on July 5, when he appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court.
The magistrates told him to pay £50 compensation with £40 costs to be paid by August 21. There was no victim surcharge because of limited means and priority to compensation.
