MORE than 550 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Hampshire in 24 hours.

Public Health England figures - as recorded on the Government website at 4.47pm today - show that 551 more people have tested positive for the virus in a 24 hour period.

Across the county, there has been a total of 121,429 positive tests since the start of the pandemic in March 2020 - around 8.83 per cent of the county's population.

  • Havant: 36 (8,657)
  • New Forest: 48 (8,289)
  • Portsmouth: 69 (18,180)
  • Rushmoor: 26 (9,114)
  • Southampton: 119 (20,015)
