MORE than 550 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Hampshire in 24 hours.
Public Health England figures - as recorded on the Government website at 4.47pm today - show that 551 more people have tested positive for the virus in a 24 hour period.
Across the county, there has been a total of 121,429 positive tests since the start of the pandemic in March 2020 - around 8.83 per cent of the county's population.
Below are the confirmed cases by local authority on July 27:
- Basingstoke and Deane: 33 (11,240 in total since start of pandemic)
- East Hampshire: 20 (6,278)
- Eastleigh: 54 (8,126)
- Fareham: 35 (6,652)
- Gosport: 26 (4,949)
- Hart: 19 (5,772)
- Havant: 36 (8,657)
- New Forest: 48 (8,289)
- Portsmouth: 69 (18,180)
- Rushmoor: 26 (9,114)
- Southampton: 119 (20,015)
- Test Valley: 28 (7,564)
- Winchester: 38 (6,593)
