A MAN has been jailed after a spate of shoplifting incidents Southampton.
Philip Rosher, 34, of no fixed abode pleaded guilty to five shoplifting offences committed between March 22 and May 4 this year.
He also admitted to 22 further theft offences between those dates which were taken into consideration when sentencing.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court yesterday, Rosher was sentenced to 23 weeks behind bars.
On Monday March 22 he took items worth approximately £75.00 from Tesco Express, Witts Hill, Bitterne.
On Saturday March 27 Rosher stole items worth approximately £50.00 from Tesco Express, Witts Hill, Bitterne.
On Monday April 5 at around items worth approximately £107.00 were stolen from Tesco Express, Witts Hill, Bitterne by Rosher.
Again, on Monday April 5 he stole items worth approximately £8.85 from Tesco Express, Witts Hill, Bitterne.
On Saturday May 1, Rosher stole items worth approximately £60.00 from Tesco Express, Winchester Road, Fair Oak.
