AN AIR ambulance was called to a Southampton high-rise after a woman fell.
The incident happened at around 2pm this afternoon at Rotterdam Towers in Weston.
Hampshire police confirmed she fell from the building. Witnesses say she fell from a sixth-storey flat.
Emergency services remain on the scene in International Way and a police tape is in place.
The air ambulance left the area at around 3.30pm.
Both paramedics and firefighters have been in attendance.
South Central Ambulance Service said: "SCAS were called this afternoon at 14:02 to International Way to a medical emergency.
"We sent to the scene an ambulance crew, ambulance officer, rapid response vehicle and the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance."
Hampshire police said: "We were called at 2.05pm this afternoon (2 August) in relation to the concern for welfare of a woman in Southampton.
"She had fallen from a property at Rotterdam Towers, International Way in Southampton.
"Emergency services remain on-scene at this time."
