TWO high street buildings in Hampshire have sold in auction bidding wars.

A two-storey building at 11 High Street, Eastleigh, went for £261,000 in an auction by land and property auctioneers Clive Emson – £41,000 above the lower end of the guide price.

The British Heart Foundation has occupied the site for more than 30 years and has extended its stay by three years to April 2024.

A mid-terrace property at 11 High Street, Bishops Waltham, sold freehold for £375,000 – £115,000 above the lower end of the guide price.

The ground floor is let on a 15-year commercial lease to Studio4Gifts, while the first floor is let as offices.

Occupiers at both properties are unaffected by the freehold sales.

Clive Emson’s next auction is on Wednesday, September 22.
