Brought to you by multiple award winning artist Archiebald Cook and his team, Kookie Tattoos specialises in premium body art including tattooing, body piercing and semi-permanent make up.

Archie told the Daily Echo: "Our studio is one of the largest in England with the best equipment and the best artists, all contributing towards a great experience. We recognise that a tattoo is not only about getting the best tattoo possible, but the experience itself as well.

"I’d like to thank everyone in Southampton who has given us such a warm welcome."

Daily Echo:

Archiebald Cook started tattooing at the age of nine, mentored by his father Matt Cook of the Sharp Practice.

He went on to win a number of awards and works alongside some top permanent and guests artists including Kiyoharu Hirakawa (aka Chris), a half English, half Japanese opaque realism artist whose tattoo career has taken him around the globe.

Covid had a devastating impact on the financial side of the business, but the Kookie Tattoo team are coming out the other side of the pandemic artistically stronger and feeling positive for the future.

Daily Echo:

Archie added: "It absolutely decimated our business and took away a lot financially.

"But what we did gain out of it was huge regains of time to focus on art, which in turn made us better artists.

"We've all come back to work with a fresh pair of eyes and we’ve been on a roll ever since."
