A FUNDRAISING appeal launched to help a 13-year-old crime victim has already raised almost £1,000.

Lottie Trenchard, a member of the Tigers Children’s Motorcycle Display Team, has helped raise more than £20,000 for charity and was devastated when her bike was stolen.

As reported in the Daily Echo, the bike was taken from a garage near her Romsey home on July 30.

An appeal launched to help her buy a replacement bike has so far raised £950.

A statement on the family's GoFundMe page says: "Lottie has been riding for the Tigers since she was five - motorbikes play a massive part of her life.

"This year has already been a particular difficult year for Lottie, missing this year's show season due to health issues and last year’s show season was lost due to the pandemic.

"As the Tigers is a non-profit organisation we as parents are responsible for funding the bikes for them to ride.

"Without a bike Lottie will not be able to rejoin the team in November to begin training for the new 2022 show season.

"We are looking to fund the purchase of her new motorbike and any donations we receive above the cost of the new bike will be donated to the charities that the Tigers are supporting this year.

"Like so many charities they have suffered during the pandemic so please help Lottie to get back on her bike and help the charities she supports."
