A SEARCH has been launched for a missing man who was last seen at Southampton Central railway station.

Lewis Pearce, 19, got on a train at the station at about 7.25pm on Saturday, July 31.

Lewis's family are extremely concerned for his welfare.

Police say they have made "extensive enquiries" to find him and are now asking the public for help.

Officers say he arrived at the station and was seen talking to two blonde women outside, and then again on a train.

He is described as being white, of a slim build, and has a shaved head.

Lewis was last seen wearing a grey tracksuit and a grey coat with fur around the collar, and had a red and black rucksack and a long, thin, gold chian.

He got on a train to Poole but police say he may have got off at the next stop in Southampton, or any other stations on the route.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen him, particularly the two women at the station.

Anyone with information can contact police on 101, quoting reference number 44210306208.
