AS thousands are due to take to the streets for Southampton Pride, the Daily Echo looks back at the first event of its kind.
Rainbows flew through Hampshire streets on February 25, 2015, as more than 100 youngsters went on the county's first Pride march.
Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people showed their colours in a parade from Winchester University down the High Street.
They were joined by heterosexual allies and local well-wishers to celebrate the end of LGBT History Month.

It was the result of months of work from the university's Spectrum Network and council officials.
