FIREFIGHTERS rushed to a town property yesterday to tackle a blaze in a kitchen.
Crews from Hardley and Beaulieu were called to the incident just after 7pm yesterday evening.
The fire is said to have broken out in the kitchen of a property in Sycamore Road, Hythe.
Two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and positive pressure ventilation was needed to extinguish the blaze and clear the smoke.
Firefighters left the scene at 7.43pm.
