THE M27 reopened last night after police shut the road in both directions due to the concern for welfare of a man.
The force had closed the major road junction 8 and 9 in both directions since around 4.30pm on Friday.
M27 - police are now in the process of reopening following the earlier closure due to the incident between J8 and J9. Traffic is still very busy and queued in all directions leading towards the motorway but should now start to ease gradually.

It was after officers responded to a call for the concern for the welfare of a man.
At just past 7pm it was confirmed the police incident had ended.
At 7.38pm Hampshire Constabulary said the incident was 'concluded' and that the man who had been on a bridge is now with emergency services.
