A MERCURY award winning band are coming to Southampton as part of a drive to support grassroots music venues after COVID closures.
Alt-Rock quartet Wolf Alice are playing the sold out show at The Joiners on Sep 29 as part of The National Lottery’s Revive Live Tour in which they will also play in Swansea, Stoke on Trent and Frome.
The partnership between Music Venue Trust and The National Lottery will see hundreds of other performances funded by The National Lottery enabling the grassroots live music industry to start promoting shows again.
Artists announced so far include Miles Kane, Seasick Steve and The Vaccines.
The National Lottery is contributing £1M to the touring and production costs of over 300 live performances this summer.
Up to 30,000 tickets – or around half the capacity of these shows – will be gifted to National Lottery players, giving music fans the opportunity to get back to live gigs.
