THE Big Sustainability Awards has been running for three years and will take place in Hampshire for the first time at St. Mary's Stadium, Southampton.

The event is to be held on the evening of the evening of October 28, with a Welcome Drinks Reception followed by a three-course Hampshire Larder meal prepared by Royal Warrant Holders Gather and Gather - who now run Saints Events at the stadium.

The event is designed to shine a spotlight on those making a difference across the South, from solution suppliers to organisations reducing their carbon footprint.  With a Hampshire business, GHS Group from Gosport, as Awards Ambassador 2021. A company that was Business of the Year at the 2019 event.

The host for the evening is the region's very own yachtswoman, Dee Caffari MBE who has sailed around the world six times and is the first woman to sail single-handed and non-stop around the both directions. And, the only woman to have sailed non-stop around the world a total of three times.

Dee will open with an inspirational look into her world, a woman who is now a real advocate for the elimination of plastics from our oceans. Event organisers,

The Southern Sustainability Partnership - with offices in Hampshire and Dorset, are holding the event as doors to their UK leading Big Sustainability Expo closes for the fifth year.

The company is ensuring the county of Hampshire is firmly on the map for corporate sustainability with their series of events, which also includes a Hampshire Business Leaders Climate Summit and are asking for the region's support by prompting Southampton businesses to become City Champions.

The eyes of the country will be on our city, as delegates travel from as far as Scotland to attend these events, and they ask for our help to showcase the city by hosting a table on awards night.

There is even one more award to sponsor if you really want to offer your support.
