POLICE have released a CCTV image of a robber wearing a balaclava who raided a Hampshire convenience store.
He was one of two robbers who stole cash from the One Stop shop in St Luke's Close, Hedge End.
The pair entered the store and demanded two staff members, a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, hand over cash, before driving off in a small blue hatchback car.
Both members of staff were left shaken but uninjured by the ordeal that happened on Monday at around 8.45pm.
The suspects are described as white, in their late teens to early 20s, and 5ft 10ins to 6ft tall.
One was wearing a grey coloured jumper, the other a blue coloured top with a star motif on the back. Both men had their faces covered.
Detective Constable Simon Clifford of Hedge End CID said he wants to hear from anyone who recognises the men or who saw a similar car driving at speed in the area on Monday evening.
"Fortunately this type of incident is rare in the Hedge End area, so when it occurs it is even more shocking, particularly for those involved," he said.
Anyone with information should call DC Clifford on 0845 045 45 45, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
