Hampshire Fare is touring the Isle of Wight next month (7th-8th October) as part of a special ‘Roadshow’, visiting local food, drink and craft producers, as well as independent retailers and hospitality venues selling and serving local produce.

Hampshire Fare, the county’s food, drink and craft group, is visiting the Isle of Wight to attend a special members’ networking event being held by Hampshire Fare member Island Roasted at their artisan café, Caffe Isola, Newport, on 7th October. However, the Hampshire Fare team will also be travelling around the Island meeting local producers and other independent businesses, such as retailers and hospitality venues, that supply, sell or serve local produce.

Tracy Nash, Commercial Manager, explains: “This is a call out to any local producers, independent hospitality owners and retailers interested in collaborating with other food, drink and craft members, both on the Island and in Hampshire. This networking event will provide a terrific opportunity to meet the Hampshire Fare team and to forge new working relationships with other like-minded individuals.

“We are truly excited to be visiting the Isle of Wight as it has an exceptional abundance of top quality local produce, and some outstanding hospitality venues. We also look forward to catching up with many of our members who include farmers, ice-cream makers, brewers and distillers.”

Hampshire Fare’s networking events are usually members-only, however on this occasion invitations are being extended to non-members working in local food, drink and craft businesses on the Isle of Wight and in Hampshire. Anyone interested in attending simply needs to contact Hampshire Fare at info@hampshirefare.co.uk to reserve a place.

Tracy Nash adds: “If any producer, local retailer or hospitality venue, whether a member or non-member, is not able to attend the networking event, but would like us to visit them, as part of our Isle of Wight ‘Roadshow’, to talk ‘local’, please get in touch to make sure you are included in our schedule.”

People on the Isle of Wight are also invited to look out for the Hampshire Fare liveried van while it is touring the Island. Spot the van and contact Hampshire Fare via Twitter, Facebook or Instagram with the van’s location to be one of ten lucky recipients to win a free shopper.
