A SOUTHAMPTON man was stopped on a Hampshire motorway more than three times a drug-drive limit.
Simon Lawrence was pulled over driving a Ford Galaxy on the A3 northbound.
The 49-year-old of Bevois Valley Road was found to have 800 mgs of amphetamine drug per litre of blood.
The legal limit is just 250 mgs.
Lawrence was also driving without insurance at the time of the incident on February 25 this year.
Appearing before Portsmouth Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to both offences.
He was disqualified for 12-months and fined £94.
He must pay £85 in court costs and a £34 victim surcharge.
