POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a horse was hit by a car in the New Forest last night.
The collision happened on the B3055 between Brockenhurst and Beaulieu at some time between 11pm and 11.55pm.
The condition of the horse is unknown at this time.

Police have interviewed the driver of the car following the collision and now are appealing to the public for further information.
