NEW and old Stroud School families enjoyed the first ever welcome picnic to celebrate the return to school.
Teachers, children, parents and siblings loved the chance to have a large get together again after so long in various Covid restrictions.
Exciting changes are afoot at the school, in Romsey. It has moved to a three-form entry in Middle School for Years 3, 4 and 5 and in Year 6, a senior school has started with a four-form entry.
Pupils can also enjoy a new adventure playground with log towers and climbing nets, as well as two very cool hammocks!
A new Outdoor Ranger, Mr Silas Caie, will be focusing on unlocking the potential of the school’s extensive natural areas whilst developing the provision of learning outside the classroom across all year groups.
Stroud's woods, ponds and farm animals will certainly help with this.
