A KINGS Worthy man suffered a brain injury after a fall at home, an inquest heard.
Anthony Bertram George Barcock, 85, of Church Green Close, was taken by ambulance to the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester on September 3, an inquest was told. He had suffered the unwitnessed fall on September 1.
His condition deteriorated suddenly in hospital and he died the same day.
A post mortem by consultant pathologist Balvinder Shoker revealed that cause of death was an acute subdural haematoma.
Area cororner Rosamund Rhodes-Kemp adjourned the inquest to May 3 2022.
