A CITY centre fashion event showcased easy and sustainable clothes shopping.
Hosted by a slow fashion group based in Southampton, the Guildhall Square event included a catwalk to show sustainable or upcycled clothing, a clothes swap station where visitors can enjoy some second-hand browsing, and a donation point for clothes for refugees.
It allowed fashion lovers to find out about local options for slow and sustainable fashion.
Repairers from Southampton Repair Cafe came to teach people sewing skills and local seamstress 'sew ruthless' also attended with her handmade clothes.
A clothes swap took place as well as block printing and a multimedia presentation on the human rights and environmental issues surrounding the fashion industry.
