A MAN has been charged wit drink driving after being stopped by police in the New Forest.
Yesterday at 10:27am, officers taking part in a planned operation in the area stopped a vehicle on Hatchet Lane, Beaulieu.
The driver is then said to have returned two samples for police.
Now Nicholas Day, 28, from Faircross Close, Holbury has been charged with drink driving.
He has been bailed to appear at Southampton Magistrates' Court on October 7.
The operation came in support of Project Edward which saw officers out on the roads around the New Forest engaging with drivers, giving them education around road safety and enforcement if required.
