A WOMAN from the Southampton area has been landed with a hefty bill after getting caught driving uninsured on the motorway.
Holly Fearnley must pay a total of £966 - a mix of court costs and fines.
The 24-year-old of Bridge Road, Sarisbury Green was stopped in a red Vauxhall Corsa driving along the M40 in Oxfordshire.
She was driving without insurance and otherwise in accordance with a licence.
Appearing before Oxford Magistrates' Court, she pleaded guilty to the motoring offences which happened on August 3 this year.
Fearnley has been handed a six-month driving ban.
